Sam Smith’s “Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas” Will Give You Chills

Sam Smith "Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas" I absolutely hate Christmas songs. Yes I said that and yes I mean it. I get nauseous whenever I hear that first Christmas song of the season back in November. One will catch me off guard while I’m out shopping and I’ll head to the nearest bathroom to revisit my lunch. I don’t know why I’m that way. Maybe its due to the whole over commercialization of Christmas. Maybe it’s due to the countless HORRIBLE covers from obscure artists who feel that they absolutely need to churn out their acoustic banjo version of “White Christmas” OR decide that their Christmas song should be played in a Hip Hop club. Or maybe the reason I fill this way is because my parents only played two Christmas CD’s on repeat over and over and over – Boys 2 Men’s “The Christmas Collection” and Kenny G’s “Miracles: The Holiday Album.” I want to smash an ornament in my ear whenever I hear that curly haired creep’s alto saxophone!

So what is the ONE song that I will listen to during the holiday season that won’t send me to the emergency room with a bloody ear? Who could possibly save me from the nightmares of hearing grandma getting ran over by a reindeer? Sam Smith’s “Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas”.

You either LOVE Sam Smith… or you are just absolutely crazy. Yes he sounds a bit like Boy George and yes he gets played over and over on the radio but you got to hand it to that angel voiced crooner – the man can sing a holiday song! Check out his latest Christmas song below… your ears will thank me.

you’re welcome.
