HumpdayRemixes – Jennifer Lawrence & Beyonce

JL Bey

Why yes… I did say Jennifer Lawrence. And yes… I meant THAT Jennifer Lawrence. Crazy huh?! Anyways, Happy Humpday folks! I hope you are having an awesome week full of naps, cancelled meetings, and zero calorie desserts! This week’s installment of HumpdayRemixes will get you in the right mood… or at least make it look like you’re in a great mood.

Up first is Queen B’s “7/11 (Dirty Pop Club Remix)”. If you thought her 7/11 song was just a bit “eh” then you better not tell anyone out loud. Keep that ish to yourself. YOU MAY NOT QUESTION THE QUEEN B! YOU WILL LOVE EVERYTHING THAT SHE TOUCHES… INCLUDING THE GROUND SHE WALKS UPON!! Here’s a more dance club version of her rather bland awesome song below.

If you haven’t seen The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1 movie yet, you might just be the only person who hasn’t – and chances are we shouldn’t be friends. One of the more chilling moments in the movie is when Jennifer Lawrence sings “The Hanging Tree” song. If you think I’m just blowing smoke up your skirt, then simmer down because the song actually ranked #12 on Billboard’s Top 100 last week. That’s pretty crazy! The song was written by The Hunger Games‘ author Suzanne Collins and by The Lumineers (remember “Hey Ho” back in 2012). Enjoy the dance remix to the song created by the always awesome Shahaf Moran down below.

you’re welcome.
